We are glad to be hosting him! Lado Leskovar's musical journey began way back in the mid-1960's. He not only managed to rise to stardom in Slovenia and Yugoslavia, but also went on to make a name for himself all across Europe and in the Soviet Union. In his career he released numerous albums and appeared at a great number of international festivals, receiving some of the highest awards possible. He is especially renowned for his outstanding interpretations of Slovenian and world-famous chansons.

At Lent Festival, he will be performing his unrepeatable interpretations of poems by Dušan Velkaverh, and the famous chansons of Frank Sinatra. I faced it all and I stood tall and did it my way.
