MILLERTHEKILLER

Although Matjaž Mlinar alias MillerTheKiller has only been working with music since 2012, he started earlier, since he has been dancing since childhood and with this developing his pitch. He likes broken rhythms and rappers like Das Efx, Wu Tang Clan, Mobb Deep, and hip-hop culture in general. His sets are dynamic (liquid), full of drum'n'bass and intertwined with hip-hop and warmer funky, Latino, Brazilian and reggae rhythms.

Liamere is a joint project of singer and lyric-writer Malidah and arranger and producer Ferguson which was founded during the search for hybrids between dark electronic genres like future garage, 2-step and trip-hop with a classical pop structure. Their music is a sound mix of urban atmospheres, broken rhythms and melancholic hoarse female vocals. Recently the duo released their debut called Liamere which consists of 9 songs taking the listener into the world of urban loneliness and cold feelings. Live the duo turns into a trio, joined by bassist Anej Kočevar who is a part of Harshside together with Malidah, and also plays in bands like Adam, Anavrin, Gušti and Lačni Franz.

GMD (Generating Music for Dancefloors)

GMD, founded in 2016, is a fresh two-layered international project consisting of not-so-fresh electronic music lovers and activists. The first "layer" is the promotional platform GMD DIGITAL (GMD, Parasite Unit), which promotes and spreads alternative underground dance music through the Internet (social media) around the world. The second "layer" is focused on introducing the unknown "UK BASS" scene (grime, bassline, garage) in Slovenia with the help of the newly formed act GMD and the anonymous, masked team of GMD Live (GMD, SoberMC, Tommy Shy).

ACID ROCKY

ACID Rocky (real name Rok Palo) is an up and coming DJ & producer based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. His career started spontaneusly, while touring with local DJs and bands like Milk Drinkers, Ian Green and more, who recognized his skills and amazing taste in music and immediately set him up on some stages across the country. From the day one, Rocky & his multi-skilled team are now working inside and out of the studio, creating a contemporary sound and packing it up with their out-of-space ideas and visions for any other art form. His music style is mainly influenced by a compositions of early Detroit techno, while production sounds loud and heavy, regarding his recognition for new age electro music as he describes as "the sound of the future" and labels like Motorik, Turbo, Zone, BNR and more. With his dynamic and progressive DJ sets he's not the one trying to "tell a story" but is focused on one and only purpose, to make the crowd dance and enjoy all night.

GREGA REPOVŽ

The editor of Mladina, Grega Repovž, has been spinning invisible records for years, but didn’t dare to make his wish become reality. Until he plucked up the courage two years ago, and asked Zana Caroline Fabjan Blažič to show him what she’s doing on the mixer. That’s how it started. But he would probably still be mixing in his living room, if Nina Hudej hadn’t offered him to take over the DJ pulpit in Monokel.
