Brass band Vrh nad Laškim was formed seven years and has since performed at city events and other gatherings. Appearing on TV made the band famous and pretty soon the members were receiving invitations to perform all over the country. In 2010, they have attended an international ethno festival in Spain and Slovakia.

Town band Lipnica is a band with many members that perform all around Slovenia and abroad.
