Slovenian band TOSCA BEAT has managed to bring together what seems incompatible: modern music, urban trends, electronic rhythms and opera.

Three young opera singers represent the glue between various young musicians that want to create something special.

In 2015, the group has released their debut album Open Sea and had its debut appearance in Ljubljana. In 2016, the members plan to release their first album.

DANIEL VEZOJA

Daniel Vezoja (guitar, vocals)

Daniel is a singer-songwriter that describes himself as a melancholic optimist. He comes from the town of Brežice, but feels at home in Americana music, folk and alt-country sounds and songs. As of two years ago, his home away from home has been Dublin, with its blooming songwriters' scene. He has been performing regularly at local singer-songwriter nights, which is how he met Gavin Glass, a Dublin-based producer, with whom he recorded his debut solo album that will be released in the fall of 2016. He released his first official single I Hope The Wind Knows in November 2015.
