The new sextet of Samo Šalamon consists only of top European jazz musicians. The bass clarinet is played by Achille Succi, one of the leading bass clarinettists in Europe, who has been collaborating with Šalamon since his debut Ornethology in 2004.

One of Šalamon's regular co-workers is one of the most successful saxophonists in Europe, Julian Arguelles. The novice in the ensembles of Samo Šalamon is excellent double bass player Pascal Niggenkemper, who is leader of many other ensembles and is recording albums for the label Clean Feed Records. On the drums: Roberto Dani and Christian Lillinger who have been two of the most wanted jazz and impro drumers in Europe for a while now.

The ensemble will be playing compositions by Samo Šalamon, that were written especially for this sextet.
