6. MEDNARODNI FESTIVAL PIHALNIH ORKESTROV

Godba Ruše

The 6^th international wind orchestra festival will take place in Maribor from June 24^th until June 26^th. The festival is organised every 5 years by the Wind orchestra KUD Pošta Maribor which is celebrating its 85^th anniversary this year. There will be 9 orchestras from Austria, Croatia, Italy, and Slovenia taking part:

• Godbeno društvo Nabrežina
• Puhački orkestar Fužine
• Pihalni orkester Lesce
• Godba na pihala Slovenske Konjice
• Vaška godba Vrh nad Laškim
• Stadtkapelle Leibnitz
• Godba Ruše
• Godba veteranov Štajerske
• Pihalni orkester KUD Pošta Maribor

The festival will start on Friday, June 24^th 2016, with the Opening festival evening, continue with the Festival concert Saturday on June 25^th 2016, and close with the Concert and parade Sunday on June 26^th 2016, when the main event with a group concerts of all the participating orchestras will take place on Trg svobode square.
